It was merely twilight and youthful Robin Hood and his Merry Men set up their chuckling fire for the night. Marian was cooking the unwise hen Little John had proudly killed and they finally feasted. Alan walked around his arrow ready for protection. Robin was practising targets at a tree which had a mark Marian had drawn with ink. Little John was climbing tall trees, sliding on branches, and snapping twigs and leaping ‘Hooray!’. Much and Will were chatting about Robin while Tuck was stuffing more potato and hen meat in his face. They walked along the yellow brick path and reached an unknown site.It was a village named ‘Suttledickes’.It said so on a great big board that was around the back of the village. In the centre of Suttledickes, there was a large wooden palace and there were about five priest holes in it -a few supplies along with a throne, no treasure was to be seen in the royal building. Little Johnny and Alan inspected the large castle and seemed to have found a locked dusty door.

They called for Robin but he was nowhere to be seen. They climbed down the raggedy stairs and saw the sheriff’s guards pulling Tuck into a sack to take him to the sheriff. Robin was outside in a hedge next to some green cherry bushes. When the guards got into the chariot and took a few steps forward in it, Robin charged his arrow at the back wheel and in that moment, the wheel fell off and Robin plunged behind the cherry bushes. He heard the guards trying to sort it out looking at the wheel…he grabbed the sack and pulled it toward the bushes and the guards did not even notice!

Marian untied the sack and Tuck could finally breathe! Finally, Little John and Alan showed Robin the Dusty locked door. Robin asked for Marian and she twisted a needle round the unused keyhole and surprisingly they got in!It was not much to the expectation of the Merry Men and Robin, but it did have a locked box. Marion twisted the needle through the locked box keyhole, but it wasn’t that easy this time. The key was hanging about somewhere and nowhere to be seen!

Finally Will mentioned that he had found a key and left it in his right-hand pocket. He dug in his pocket and grabbed it then showed it to Robin .Robin twisted it down the lock and it opened, a book was the only thing left in the box but Robin wisely took it and it revealed the following words,

The Book of the Mystery Castle

Marian took it from Robin reading it curiously, she asked if the label could be the name of the abandoned castle. The following months were full of just reading and living in ‘Mystery Castle’.It wasn’t as rich and homely like it was in Nottingham forest but it was rather cool. Marian soon started to pack the Merrymen’s bags with Robin’s and they set of out of the castle in Late September. They walked many miles on the yellow path. No one knows where young Robin is now but tales say more…
